Toastmaster of the day Thomas Bernard lead our meeting with the theme of April Fools, revealing himself as a consummate prankster.

Three of our newest members stepped up to the stage with Hayley Ching, introducing our word of the day – bamboozle. Then Tsarina Dellow and Lucie Harrison delivered two great introductions.

Our first two speakers, Stuart Lyons and Louise Landess took us on some interesting journeys into the history of our local region.

Third speaker Hannah Drury, brought us back to the present with insights and anecdotes about her evolving likes, interests, and passions as she begins her life in tertiary education.

Erika Andrews stepped up at the last minute to lead an entertaining Table Topics. Shaun Jacob then took out the coveted Toastie Award for the day with his impressive evaluations of the Table Topics speakers.
